Situ\u00e9 au milieu d\u2019un rond-point, juste en face de l\u2019ancien site taurin, il est cens\u00e9 informer les passants sur l\u2019histoire du lieu. Sauf que l\u2019intention ne fait pas l\u2019unanimit\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, les critiques fusent. Design jug\u00e9 peu esth\u00e9tique, erreurs linguistiques, informations discutables\u2026 et surtout, un emplacement qui surprend : au lieu d\u2019\u00eatre plac\u00e9 \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du monument, le panneau tr\u00f4ne au centre de la chauss\u00e9e, risquant de g\u00eaner la visibilit\u00e9 et m\u00eame de provoquer des accidents.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019association<strong> \u00ab Tanger entre hier et aujourd\u2019hui<\/strong> \u00bb monte au cr\u00e9neau. Elle d\u00e9nonce une installation b\u00e2cl\u00e9e, qui ne respecte ni les standards de la signal\u00e9tique patrimoniale, ni l\u2019esprit du lieu.<strong> \u00ab Pour un site historique comme la Plaza de Toros, il aurait fallu un panneau \u00e0 hauteur d\u2019homme, avec une pr\u00e9sentation claire, traduite en arabe, amazighe, espagnol et anglais. Et pourquoi pas, deux photos : une ancienne et une actuelle<\/strong> \u00bb, plaide un membre de l\u2019association.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019auteur tang\u00e9rois Mohammed El Harrak, lui aussi, s\u2019est exprim\u00e9. Dans un texte largement partag\u00e9 intitul\u00e9 \u00ab<strong> L\u2019abondance des futilit\u00e9s<\/strong> \u00bb, il critique ce qu\u2019il appelle une vision <strong>\u00ab superficielle de l\u2019espace public<\/strong> \u00bb : <strong>\u00ab La m\u00e9moire est r\u00e9duite \u00e0 une forme, l\u2019histoire devient un d\u00e9cor, et l\u2019identit\u00e9 s\u2019efface. \u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les associations locales demandent \u00e0 ce que les projets de ce type ne soient plus lanc\u00e9s \u00e0 la va-vite. Elles appellent les autorit\u00e9s \u00e0 consulter des sp\u00e9cialistes : historiens, artistes, linguistes, et habitants eux-m\u00eames.
